I couldn't get out on a stream yesterday as I had other things I had to do. But I looked at the weather report and it said it would be 40+ degrees today with rain. Okay, that didn't sound too bad. What I should have looked for was WHEN it was going to be over 40 degrees today! Let's just say when I got back to the car it was a less than toasty 34 degrees with rain. (Thank heavens I didn't drive north or I'd have had ice in the guides.) Even with all the layers I had on that wasn't a good combination. However, after the fish woke up I did have a decent (late) morning. The water may be cold but the fish are still hungry. Here's some video.

Looks like you had a really good day (and are getting quite skilled at video).
I tried Sunday morning as well locally and unfortunately the trout weren't quite as frisky.

You've got skills doing the video's, nice job. Running the camera adds another dimension to the fishing experience. You'll have to share the technique.

Well, right now I'm holding the camera with my right hand and moving the rod over to my left. I can point it at me and then flip it around. I can't land a fish and record it 'cause I'd need a hand for the fish, one to remove the hook, and one for the camera. If I could hook up a camera to my chest, I'd be okay. I set up with the camera behind me
but the fish wouldn't cooperate. But I'll get that angle eventually.

Overcast skies are the best time to go out but when its below forty out & water is sub forty as well, things can be slow and slow they were - at least for me. you definitely outscored me yesterday

sure was nice and warm today too bad streams were 3-4' above normal

Great videos. You have just sent me on a new mission to rig a camera to myself like they do on those ghost programs except looking away, Can't wait!

Great post, I know you enjoyed it as much as I am viewing it.
